The world of today is experiencing profound changes
At sim, our philosophy is that a more human centered view is lasting and hence a core success-factor. We think that to invest and make money in a country means also to share its values and contribute to its development.
In accordance with the Chinese government new social policies, we are not only obliged to the social responsibility to our team, but also on a broader dimension in supporting human centered initiatives, such as the Three Valleys Foundation.
This Foundation, registered in Lausanne, Switzerland, has for Mission “to help and contribute to the harmonious, human and sustainable development of rural and pastoral communities of our world through projects in education, health, poverty alleviation and cultural awareness”.
It is mainly active in the north of the Yunnan Province in the region of the Three Valleys (Bleu River, Mekong and Salaween). If the region ecosystem, cultural and ethnical diversity are very unique (1,7 millions of hectares of the region have been added in 2003 on the list of the UNESCO Human Heritage), the living conditions are however very harsh, with a yearly personal income of 600 Rmb (90USD).
The China Centre of the Foundation is based in Zhongdian (Shangrila), at 3270 m altitude.
It has been founded by it’s President Mr. Jean-Luc Fazan, who has more than 15 years studies and work experience in China (SGS, Lacoste, Audemars Piguet, etc.), speaks fluently mandarin and knows the north Yunnan region since 1986.
For the companies and individuals who share our philosophy, values and concerns, and who would like to be involved, different interesting and needed projects are currently taking place, mainly in Yunnan.

Founded in 1994 by the guitarist Eugene Montenero, "bconnected" knew since its creation, to preserve a strong identity.
With already 14 years of experience, the band is in its full maturity, each one being able to feel in the direction which it wishes and with the intention to bring to the collective new connections. Because of this opening mind towards the world, bconnected is in perpetual evolution but keeping its roots in the tradition of the jazz.
sim has the great pleasure to facilitate bconnected China tours since 4years and is looking forward to the musical journeys of the coming years.
