In embracing the new governmental mandates for enhanced corporate social responsibility in China, sim is not only engaged locally in CSR, but also is in pursuit of broader dimensions of giving back by supporting human centered initiatives, such as the Three Valleys Foundation. This Foundation, registered in Lausanne, Switzerland, has a mission "to help and contribute to the harmonious, human and sustainable development of rural and pastoral communities of our world through projects in education, health, poverty alleviation and cultural awareness".

Launched in June 1998 the independent website SinOptic gathers information covering many areas, including economics, politics, health and varying aspects of the Chinese culture, among others subjects. 

It regularly offers updated, comprehensive news and information regarding Chinese culture and Sino-Swiss relations.

Founded in 1994 by the guitarist Eugene Montenero, bconnected, a Swiss Jazz band with a global outlook, knew since its creation how to preserve a strong identity.
